Nike SB Dunk Low "Sashiko"

Updated: Aug 2

The first thing that catches your eye on this sneaker is the intricate stitching around the sneaker. The design of the shoe takes inspiration from a Japanese embroidery technique that dates back to the 1600s call Sashiko. This Nike SB Dunk Low is one of many components of this "Sashiko Pack" collection set to roll out later this year.

The SB dunk sports a 2 tone colorway with the "Mystic Navy" denim upper. On the sides and heel, it features the traditional Japanese embroidery. You can also find the same stitching on the tongue on top of the Nike SB logo which is a nice added touch. To bring things together, the shoe reps a "Gum Light Brown" sole. The white stitching on the shoe is the perfect contrast to the blue tones on the Nike SB.

For now, this sneaker is set to roll out only in Europe on August 1st. Stay tuned for more info.
